Despues de 30 años en el mundo asociativo con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de todas las personas con acondroplasia, es un honor para la Asociación Crecer y para mi como presidenta daros la bienvenida a este Encuentro Internacional de asociaciones del mundo.
Este gran desafío constituye todo un reto para nosotros, lo estamos preparando con mucha ilusión, para poder estar a la altura de lo que este evento requiere.
Este encuentro va dirigido tanto a representantes de asociaciones, como a profesionales de la salud, personas con acondroplasia y sus familias y estudiantes interesados en compartir conocimientos y experiencias en el campo de la talla baja y con un especial hincapié en la acondroplasia.
Nos acompañaran conferenciantes de reconocido prestigio tanto nacional como internacional como son el Dr. Miguel Angel González Viejo, el Dr.Julio de Pablos.
En este congreso trataremos de analizar todos los conocimientos sobre la acondroplasia y dar a conocer estrategias sanitarias para la mejora en atención a este colectivo.
Las presentaciones de las diferentes asociaciones participantes darán a conocer la realidad de su trabajo y las propuestas de actuación para aunar esfuerzos y estrechar lazos en pro de una meta común.
Los participantes también reflexionarán y verán las desigualdades en el acceso al tratamiento y el conocimiento científico en diversos países.
También contamos con el apoyo inestimable de FEDER, que es un impulso de ayuda para nuestra Asociaciones.

Dear friends,
After 30 years in the associative world with the objective of improving the quality of life of all people with achondroplasia, it is an honor for the Growing Association and for me as president to welcome you to this International Meeting of associations of the world.
This great challenge is a challenge for us, we are preparing with great enthusiasm, to be able to live up to what this event requires.
This meeting is aimed at representatives of associations, health professionals, people with achondroplasia and their families and students interested in sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of low stature and with a special emphasis on achondroplasia.
We will be accompanied by lecturers of recognized national and international prestige such as Dr. Miguel Angel González Viejo, Dr. Julio de Pablos.
In this congress we will try to analyze all the knowledge about achondroplasia and to give to know sanitary strategies for the improvement in attention to this group.
The presentations of the different participating associations will make known the reality of their work and the proposals of action to join forces and to strengthen ties in the pursuit of a common goal.
Participants will also reflect and see inequalities in access to treatment and scientific knowledge in various countries.
We also have the invaluable support of the ERDF, which is a boost for our Associations.
